2. Nature of Services and Sales Channels

Sisumo Oy operates as a Finnish art and design studio offering:

Digital products

High-resolution downloadable art prints and digital files

Sold via our own online storefronts and third-party platforms such as Etsy, where Sisumo Oy is the seller for digital goods

Delivered immediately after purchase

Physical artworks

Original artworks and fine art prints

Sold primarily through third-party platforms such as Saatchi Art

Orders, payments, shipping, returns and logistics for physical artworks are governed by the platform’s Terms and Conditions and applicable consumer law

Clarification:
When purchasing through a marketplace (e.g., Etsy, Saatchi Art), the platform—not Sisumo Oy—acts as the technical service provider for payment processing, account management, checkout functionality and file delivery.

3. Digital Content – Waiver of Right to Cancel

This applies only to digital content delivered online.

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply once:

You request immediate access to the digital content, and

You acknowledge that you lose your withdrawal right when downloading begins.

Accordingly, by purchasing a digital product from us, you agree that:

You request immediate access to the digital content after payment

The product becomes non-refundable and non-returnable once access is granted

This does not affect your statutory rights if the file is defective or misdescribed.

Physical artworks follow the return policies of the selling platform (e.g., Saatchi Art).

4. Platform-Specific Information

Etsy (Digital Products)

Digital downloads purchased on Etsy:

are delivered immediately after payment

become non-refundable once accessed or downloaded, except where consumer law or Etsy’s policies require otherwise

Buyers are responsible for ensuring that their device/software supports the provided file formats.

Sisumo Oy is not responsible for compatibility issues caused by user devices, outdated software or third-party apps.

Saatchi Art (Physical Artworks)

Physical artworks purchased via Saatchi Art are governed by:

Saatchi Art’s Terms of Use

Saatchi Art’s shipping and return policies

Applicable consumer protection rules

Shipping, damage-in-transit issues and returns must be resolved through Saatchi Art customer support, unless stated otherwise in the order.

5. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

For purchases where Sisumo Oy directly acts as the seller (e.g., digital products):

Finnish law applies,

Subject to mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

EU/EEA consumers may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform for online purchase disputes.

For purchases via third-party platforms, the governing law and dispute resolution mechanisms specified in those platform terms apply.

6. Data Protection & Communications

Sisumo Oy processes personal data only as necessary to:

provide and deliver your order,

communicate about your purchase,

comply with accounting and legal requirements.

We do not send marketing communications without your opt-in consent.

Third-party platforms (Etsy, Saatchi Art, Stripe, PayPal) apply their own privacy policies in addition to our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and your GDPR rights.

Sisumo Oy is not responsible for:

technical outages on Etsy, Saatchi Art or other platforms

color variations due to monitor/screen differences

printing results produced by third-party print services

technical issues caused by user devices or unsupported software

These limitations apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
